RAWA. RADIO CRAFTS

Only Radio entries can be entered into Radio Crafts. However, Radio Craft entries do not also have to be entered in the main Radio categories

Crafts must follow the same submission requirements as the corresponding category above.

Direction

The craft award is awarded to the radio director.

   

Writing

The craft award is awarded to the writer.

 

 

Original Music & Sound Design

The craft award is awarded to the music composer or sound designer. For the composition of an outstanding, original piece of music and/or sound effects design for radio, whereby the craft of the composer / sound designer is unique and greatly enhances the commercial.

• Only original sound effects / music / soundtracks can be entered here. Do not enter existing licensed music or tracks.

 

Performance

The Craft Award is awarded to the performer / artist. For an outstanding performance in a radio commercial by the voice-over artist, that enhances the quality of the commercial

   

RADIO - MEDIA SUBMISSION FORMAT


No physical entries allowed for this category. Electronic media only.
All non-English radio entries must be submitted as a video file with English subtitles. Include any necessary explanation for the jury to understand the context of the translation.

As all work is judged anonymously, you must ensure that no reference to your agency is included on the media that will be judged.


IF USING VIDEO, you can provide footage of the entry itself, as well as supporting information about your work. Please follow the Film submission format. Overview videos must be limited to 2 minutes. If it is felt necessary, a long format video showing extended content may accompany the 2-minute overview.

Original execution of the content that was commercially launched or aired.

• Non-English entries must be submitted as a video file with English subtitles (please follow the Video specifications)

OVERVIEW VIDEO

You can provide footage of the entry itself, as well as supporting information about your work. It is highly recommended that the presentation is tailored/adapted to highlight the elements most relevant to the chosen category

• Maximum length = 2 minutes

• Maximum size = 400MB

• In addition to the overview, you have the option to submit the full-length work which may be viewed at the judges’ discretion

ORIGINAL CONTENT VIDEO

30 SECOND EDIT

We recommend you submit an additional 30 second edit with all long format entries, which may include a voiceover. This edit will not be judged but will be used on screen at the awards ceremony should your work win. If no edit is received, the original video will fade in and out on screen at the awards.
